Traffic Engineering Discipline Lead Opportunity:
This position can be based in Salt Lake City, UT, Meridian, ID, or Coeur D’Alene, ID.

Qualifications for this role include:
- BSCE, MS degree is preferred
- Licensed as a PE (Professional Engineer) in UT and PTOE (Professional Traffic Operations Engineer)
- 15+ years of progressive traffic/transportation engineering experience
- Experience in HCS, Synchro, Sidra, Cube, Vistro, Visum, and Vissim
- Ability to lead a team and mentor traffic PE’s and EIT’s
- Ability to manage project schedules and deliverables
- Ability to work in a team environment, and support multiple offices and teams
- Knowledgeable of travel demand modeling methodologies
Responsibilities will include:
- Lead the traffic engineering practice companywide
- Function as a senior traffic engineering technical resource
- Lead and manage preparation of studies and designs related to traffic engineering
- Conduct and supervise traffic operations analyses for intersections and corridors
- Perform QA/QC for traffic engineering deliverables
- Supervise staff performing travel demand modeling
- Supervise and lead signal timing optimizations and develop signal timing plans for roadway networks
- Represent clients in meetings/open houses and conduct project meetings
- Support business development activities for transportation planning and traffic engineering pursuits
- Develop scopes of work, contracts, schedules, and budgets for projects
- Understand the company’s internal business line and contribute to growing an external market
