Qualifications for this role include:
- Licensed as a PE or SE
- Knowledge of the AASHTO LRFD Design Manual
- Demonstrated capabilities of being the lead bridge engineer on projects
- 10+ years of experience
Responsibilities will include:
- Perform and oversee completion of structural calculations
- Prepare and oversee production of construction drawings, specifications, and estimates for construction costs
- Lead and mentor junior staff
- Structural analysis of bridges and retaining walls
- Seismic analysis of bridge structures
- Preparation of structural reports and studies
- Coordinate with geotechnical, roadway, and hydraulic design engineers
- Interact with clients
Base compensation is DOE. Base range is $100,000-160,000 with very strong bonus potential as well.
