We are recruiting for a Land Surveyor that has experience and interest in working in the office to join a leading civil engineering and surveying consulting firm headquartered in Walnut Creek, CA.

The plan is to build up the person that takes on this role to be the leader of their surveying team when the current group leader retires.

Position Focus
- Contribute to managing a team of surveyors on boundary, topographic, staking, drone, and a variety of other survey tasks and projects
- Direct and supervise the field crews
- Interact with clients, agencies, and others; including attending meetings when needed
- Mentor others
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience or three years of experience with a survey degree, including at least one year of office surveying responsibilities.
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS/LS) in CA, or Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT)
- Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Compensation for this position is dependent on experience and will likely be in the range of $85,000 to $150,000 per year.
