ELECTRICAL ENGINEER, CIVIL/ENVIRONMENTAL

Shepherd Engineering Search represents an engineering firm seeking a licensed Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in water and wastewater controls, instrumentation, and design to work in our Sacramento or Berkeley office as a member of our electrical, instrumentation, and controls design team. The Electrical Engineer will prepare electrical and control systems designs (plans, specifications, calculations, and estimates) for municipal water and wastewater facilities.

This is a full-time position. Candidate should possess the following:

  • Electrical P.E. license in California
  • B.S. and/or M.S. in electrical design/engineering (or related field) degree at an accredited university
  • Minimum of 5 years of related electrical, instrumentation, and/or controls engineering work experience.
  • Ability to prepare designs in the latest version of AutoCAD
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
  • Demonstrated understanding of electrical, instrumentation, and controls design approaches for water, wastewater, and recycled water utilities
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Salary Range is based on the employee’s skills, experience, education, primary work location, and related factors. This range assumes 5-10 years of related work experience. $100,000 – $145,000 Annual Full-Time Salary
